Weekend and Winners...

Have you noticed the new blog design? I am absolutely in LOVE with it. Thanks so much to Melanie over at Elegant Custom Blogs. I have loved working with her creating my new look. She is just a joy to work with. Go see what she has to offer. So much fun stuff to choose from.

Well, we have book winners. Please email me your addresses, so that I can get your books in the mail tomorrow. It is so much fun having giveaways. I have been so blessed by people in this blogging community. I love getting to meet blog friends in real life. Anybody going to the Extraordinary Women conference next weekend? I would love meet up with anyone that is coming. Now, for the important news...the winners are Angie Michelle and Aimee. Aimee, I know your twitter name is @aimeeonthego. Please email me ladies. (my email button is on the side) :)

This weekend has been one of lots of stuff going on. Today is Mother's Day, so Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. Thursday was Hannah's 16th birthday, so I went to the Trent's for family birthday supper. I watched Water for Elephants and the Jametra met me for the midnight showing of Jumping the Broom. So much fun. I can't tell you how much that I love going to the movies. I even enjoy going by myself. And having the theater to myself is total satisfaction for me. (It's the little things in life) On Friday, I went shopping with Tay for some gifts. I love that I can take him anywhere. He has to be the best child to take places. On Friday night, I met Jametra for dinner. It's kinda funny to me that we were sitting at the table and both of us were reading on our Nooks. That just means we are really comfortable with each other, right? Or that we spend to much time together.
Hannah and I on Friday night. I love this girl more than she knows!!
This is Hannah's friend Hannah. Easy to remember her name! I haven't known Hannah C for very long, but let me tell you, she is an incredible young woman. A girl after God's heart and I am excited to see what God has in store for these two. I pray that they stay friends for life.
This is my new dress that I bought this week. I wasn't going in to buy myself anything, but really liked this dress, so I had to try it on. The good news is that it was 40% off, the GREAT news is that it is TWO (2) sizes smaller than what I had been buying. I am very excited about this dress and can't wait to wear it at the beach this summer. Side note: this week has went really good with my weight loss journey. Another 5 pounds down. I still struggle from day to day, but I know that I am not alone. I love the new "help" from ReshapingItAll.com

Saturday was pretty routine. Slept late and went to the gym. That night I went to my cousin Brittany's house to celebrate her graduation from college. She will be moving in two weeks to FL for a new job. I'm excited for her and can't wait to go visit. Another excuse to go to FL. As if I need one! After I left there, I met two friends from high school for a movie. We saw Something Borrowed. Today was filled with church, lunch, and a nap before work.

Hope that everyone had a great weekend. This week I have several things going on including the Extraordinary Women Conference starting on Friday night. Can't hardly wait. Enjoy your week!
